Star Clippers Adds 27 Mediterranean Ports for 2027-2028

Star Clippers added 27 ports of call to its 2027-2028 Mediterranean program, expanding its itineraries in Greece, Turkey, Croatia, southern Italy and the Adriatic. The line also will continue sailing in the Caribbean and Central America.

The new ports include Skiros, Skopelos, Karpathos and Astypalea in Greece; Cesme, Datca, Fethiye, Kas and Kekova in Turkey; Korcula, Komiza, Trogir and Sibenik along the Adriatic; and Monopoli and Crotone in southern Italy. Star Clippers recently became the first major cruise line to call at Barletta, Italy.

"At Star Clippers, our guests consistently tell us they want to discover places beyond the traditional cruise circuit," said Terri Haas, vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas at Star Clippers. "The addition of 27 new ports of call reflects our commitment to taking travelers beyond the Mediterranean's best-known destinations while preserving the authentic sailing experience that defines Star Clippers."

The following fares include savings of up to 65 percent.

The seven-night Eternal Cyclades itinerary aboard Star Flyer visits Milos, Santorini, Amorgos and Hydra. Fares start at $2,500 per person, double occupancy.

The Authentic Greek Escape itinerary, also aboard Star Flyer, visits Astypalea, Sifnos and other Greek islands. Fares start at $2,500 per person, double occupancy.

Italian Gems aboard Star Clipper visits Termini Imerese, Vibo Marina, Lipari, Sorrento and Ponza. Fares start at $3,350 per person, double occupancy.

Southern Caribbean sailings include Carriacou, Canouan, Mayreau and Tobago. Central America itineraries visit Coiba National Park, Marine Park Golfo de Chiriqui, Quepos and Panama's Pearl Islands.

Star Clipper and Star Flyer each accommodate 166 guests, while Royal Clipper accommodates 227 guests. The ships have teak decks, swimming pools, open-seating dining, deck bars and piano lounges. Guests can help raise the sails, learn seafaring skills and use the bowsprit net. The ships use wind power when conditions permit to reduce reliance on engines.

Select departures booked by Sept. 30 include up to $500 per cabin in onboard credit and a complimentary bottle of champagne.
