As more and more American travelers set their sights on Egypt as the ultimate bucket-list destination, AmaWaterways has rolled out an enticing new offer for its Egypt river cruise and land programs. Between now and June 30, 2025, guests can enjoy the delightful perk of complimentary round-trip airfare on select Egypt river cruise and land journeys for 2025 and 2026. It’s a chance to tick off those ancient wonders of Egypt, all while getting a bit of a bargain.

If you're feeling a bit more luxe, there’s the option to upgrade to Premium Air for $1,999 or Business Class for $2,999 per person. These upgrades are available for departures from most U.S. gateways .
Kristin Karst, co-founder and chief brand ambassador at AmaWaterways, had this to say: “Egypt has always held a special place in the hearts of travelers, and we’re absolutely thrilled to make these ancient wonders even more accessible. I just returned from a cruise on the AmaLilia, and I was absolutely blown away—by the incredible crew, the positive feedback from guests, and the sheer magic of exploring Egypt in such an intimate setting. With complimentary airfare and two beautiful ships now sailing the Nile, there’s never been a better time to discover Egypt’s wonders with AmaWaterways.”
When it comes to cruising the Nile, AmaWaterways is all about intimacy and luxury. With two stunning ships—AmaLilia and AmaDahlia—on offer, you’ll experience the Nile in style. AmaLilia, the newer of the two, features 41 staterooms, including 13 spacious suites with panoramic river views. AmaDahlia, on the other hand, offers 36 staterooms, 16 of which are suites ranging from 370 to 430 square feet. Think sun deck bars, swimming pools, fitness rooms, and even a hair and nail salon—all designed to keep you feeling like royalty as you float down one of the world’s most legendary rivers.
Both ships sail the 11-night Secrets of Egypt & the Nile itinerary, which offers a perfect mix of luxury and history. This journey includes a seven-night round-trip river cruise from Luxor, plus a luxury hotel stay in Cairo—three nights before the cruise and one night afterward—at the St. Regis Cairo when aboard the AmaLilia or The Ritz-Carlton Cairo when aboard the AmaDahlia. To top it off, the itinerary includes flights within Egypt between Cairo and Luxor, making travel a breeze and allowing you to explore iconic landmarks like the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of Giza.
Every evening, guests are treated to onboard entertainment, while daily excursions led by expert Egyptologists bring Egypt’s treasures to life. Explore ancient sites like the Temple of Luxor and the Valley of the Kings, and visit the new Grand Egyptian Museum, which is home to thousands of never-before-seen artifacts. Guests will have access to 12 rooms of the collection through July 3, 2025, when the museum officially opens as the world’s largest archaeological museum.
Sailing from September through June, AmaLilia and AmaDahlia offer a seasonal gateway to Egypt’s ancient marvels—one that, quite frankly, may be too good to resist.
