    1: Lapland Hotel Saaga

    2: Scandic Pohjanhovi

    The hotel is a cosy place to rest in the amazing Arctic landscape. Our comfortable rooms and extensive room selection cater for all needs. Some rooms have views over the Kemijoki river, some have their own balcony. In addition, you can choose a room with a sauna or a room with a jacuzzi. In the traditional restaurant Pohjahovi, enjoy flavours from Lapland and admire the beautiful scenery of the Kemijoki river. The lobby bar serves fresh drinks and small snacks. The hotel also has a popular karaoke bar, dance restaurant and nightclub as well as a spacious relaxation suite with sauna and swimming pool. Pohjanhovi’s conference and event premises are flexible. Here you can have both traditional conferences as well as events and parties. All areas of the hotel have free WiFi. The hotel is located in the best spot in the city, on the banks of the Kemijoki river. All city centre services and the pedestrian street are located nearby. In winter, the snowmobile safari routes start from the corner of the hotel, and the Ounasvaara ski resort and beautiful nature routes are located nearby. It’s easy to explore the sights in the surrounding areas, such as Arktikum, Santa Claus Village and Santa Park.

     

    3: Arctic Treehouse Hotel

    A perfect hotel for your Lapland breaks, the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel is located next to SantaPark, only 2 km from Santa Claus Village towards Rovaniemi City Center.  It all started with a childhood dream and a close relationship with nature. They inspired us to create the Arctic TreeHouse Hotel. It is not just accommodation: it is an experience, where you are surrounded by the arctic nature throughout your stay. Carefully selected materials, unique design, and – above all – respect for the surrounding nature, are the basis of our concept.Morning in the forest inspired the interior design for our Arctic TreeHouse Suites.The gentle, warm natural materials combined with light shades enhance the nest-like ambience of the suites. Seven suites have a kitchenette and they can be connected to the adjacent rooms to form a family suite.  In addition to the suites, we also have five Arctic GlassHouses with two bedrooms that comfortably accommodate up to six persons. Each cabin has its own fireplace, sauna and kitchenette.

     

    4: Holiday Village Gulo Gulo

    Make the most of the Wildlife Park and the services of Ranua and book your Lapland break at the new Holiday Village Gulo Gulo. Gulo Gulo is located in the immediate vicinity of the Wildlife Park and its services.  

    Gulo Gulo is the Latin name for wolverine. The wolverine is a rare mustelid living wild in Finland. Arctic animals are part of the decor themes of our holiday apartments. The apartments are named after Arctic animals. The visitors are welcomed by snow-white animal figures: the polar bear, lynx, wolverine, wolf, pine marten, muskox, wild boar, reindeer and otter. In addition, the holiday village has apartments named after the beaver, the bear, the eagle owl, the Arctic fox, the raven and the elk.The ten semi-detached houses in the holiday village have 30 holiday apartments, all furnished with all modern conveniences, and can accommodate a total of 180 guests at any one time. The surface area of 28 of the Superior apartments is 65 m2 and two larger Deluxe apartments have an area of 76 m2.

     

    5: Santa Claus Holiday Village

    All apartments in the Santa Claus Holiday Village have been built in the 2010s, which means they are exceptional in terms of both quality and atmosphere. The building materials used and the amenities guarantee a carefree and relaxing holiday for holidaymakers of all ages. The needs of families with children have been taken into account very well, and the comfort of families is a matter we hold close to our hearts. At the Santa Claus Holiday Village’s Gingerbread Club children can be a part of the wonderful world of Santa Claus. The programme offers elf school, arts and crafts, baking, sledging, skiing trips and anything else Santa’s Little Helpers come up with. The Gingerbread Club meets during the Christmas season (1 December – 10 January) for two hours every afternoon. The Gingerbread Club activities are included in the children’s accommodation fee. Children and the young at heart can borrow a sledge and enjoy the thrill of sliding. Pick up a sled from the reception free of charge and hit the hills! You can meet Santa Claus himself for free every day of the year in the Holiday Village’s Christmas House.     10: Kakslauttanen Arctic Resort 

    Kakslauttanen is a family hotel in Finnish Lapland, 250 km north of the Arctic Circle. Although they are far from it all, the place is easy to reach. The nearest international airport is in Ivalo, just a 30 min ride away. This hotel is located right at the edge of the wilderness, along the road to the Arctic Sea. It’s a mere stone’s throw from the Urho Kekkonen National Park, the largest of Finland's national parks. The Sami have inhibited the region for over a century. The surrounding environment is one of the cleanest you’ll find anywhere in the world. The water is so pure that you can quench your thirst straight from a stream running down the fell or the lake into which it flows, and the air is so fresh that you can feel it deep down in your lungs.
