For more details send us an email to info@familytc.com

    Munich

Want to discover Munich? Join a beer sommelier, historian, or architect on our signature walking tours of Munich.

From a look at the intricacies of Bavarian culture, to a deep dive on the role Munich played in Nazi history, to a look at Munich's most important effervescent beverage, our Munich walking tours allow visitors to peel back the layers of history, immersing themselves immediately in its rich cultural landscape. Visiting for the first time? We highly recommend our Munich Orientation Tour, a historical dive into the historic old town. On this Munich city tour, we’ll talk about monks and monasteries, the Bavarian Royal family, the Third Reich, and Munich’s evolution from Alpine city to the modern cultural capital that we know today.

    Salzburg

Want to discover Salzburg? Join a historian, art historian or local expert on our signature walking tours of Salzburg.

Lasting, on average, 3 hours, and capped at 6 people, a Context tour in Salzburg is crafted to take you on an in depth travel journey. From a look at the role of the Prince-Archbishops, to a deep dive into the history of the Sound of Music, our Salzburg walking tours allow visitors to peel back the layers of history, immersing themselves immediately in its rich Austrian cultural landscape. Visiting for the first time? We highly recommend our Introduction to Salzburg Tour, a historical dive into the historic old town. On this Salzburg city tour, we’ll talk about the evolution of the Mirabell Palace, the Prince-Archbishops, the role of WW2, and Salzburg’s past and trade in the salt industry. Keen to stroll the historic streets in the evening? Book our Salzburg Nightlife Tour which covers the city in the tranquil early evening light, visiting important sites such as Mirabell Gardens and Mozart Square.

    Cape Town

Want to make sense of the stunning city of Cape Town? Join a sommelier, historian, or journalist on our signature walking tours of Cape Town. Lasting, on average, 3 hours, and capped at 6 people, a Context tour in Cape Town is designed to take you on a deep travel journey. Visiting for the first time? We recommend our Cape Town City Tour, a historical dive into the Castle of Good Hope and the city surroundings. Anxious about your trip or wondering how to make the most of it? Book our Welcome to Cape Town Tour. We’ll meet you at your accommodation for a 2-hour orientation chat and mini-tour of your neighborhood.

    Mexico City

If you’re looking for a hands-on Mexico City tour with a local expert, look no further. While Mexico City may historically have gotten a bad rap, the city is alive with stunning architecture, striking art, and some of the best food we've ever had. We limit our groups to six people, and all walking tours are led by local historians, architects, artists, food writers, and other subject matter experts. Wondering what to do on a first time trip to Mexico City? We highly recommend our Introductory Mexico City Walking Tour, which covers the Zocalo, the Templo Major, and other major attractions in the center of Mexico City. This tour is the perfect way to get your bearings around the center of the city while understanding how Mexico City evolved from Aztec enclave to modern metropolis. To dive deeper into pre-Hispanic history, we also run a Day Trip from Mexico City to Teotihuacan, a significant archaeological site. Here, we scale Mexico's most famous pyramids, traveling back in time to understand the impact of the Aztec empire.

    Singapore

Want to make sense of multicultural Singapore? Join a local historian, chef, or journalist on our signature walking tours of Singapore. Lasting, on average, 3 hours, and capped at 6 people, a Context Singapore tour is designed to take you beneath the surface, imparting an inside look at the ‘Little Red Dot’ and its history of immigration, its rapid rise to financial superpower, and the distinct cultural norms that govern this city-state. Interested in learning more about the diverse array of religions and cultures that coexist here? Pay a visit to the more authentic side of Chinatown in Singapore on our Chinatown Tour that visits Thian Hock Keng. Still anxious about your trip or wondering how to make the most of it? Book our Welcome to Singapore experience. We’ll meet you at your accommodation for a 2-hour orientation chat upon your arrival, followed by a mini-tour of your neighborhood. For instance, we may take to the streets and knuckle in with the punters at a Singapore Hawker Centre as we eat a fresh kueh cake with sambal chilli before exploring a local site of worship.
