This Celebrity Cruise to Galapagos Islands will give you an all-inclusive 360 degrees exploration of the most famous islands known for its abundant wildlife. As you eagerly land in the Galapagos airport of Baltra, watch where you step as you can expect to witness first hand, iguanas strolling across main roads as well as prickly pear cacti! You may be tempted to immediately explore and wander the island as soon as you land, but be patient as you first board and settle into your new home for the week. Each room on the ship will provide you with luxurious and spacious living spaces including a sofa, flat screen TV, vanity, and comfy beds. This mega yacht has its very own discovery lounge to prepare and inform you about all the exotic animals that you will encounter that have become your new neighbors.

After the ship docks out of Baltra, you will head west to Daphne Major, which is a volcanic island home of sea lions, short eared owls, pelicans, and finches. The finches of Galapagos are called “Darwin Finches” as they have been scientifically researched by the famous, Charles Darwin. Day two will bring you to the island of Puerto Egas, where you will be exploring blue water grottos as well as swimming and snorkeling in the clear blue water. You might want to grab your underwater camera to capture the multi-colored tropical fish and fur sea lions that you will share the ocean with.

As you wake up refreshed on day three, you will find yourself on the biggest island of the Galapagos, Isabela, where the boat will stop at Elizabeth Bay and Caleta Tagus. Dust off your binoculars, as you will be whale and dolphin scouting along the breath taking view of the Pacific Ocean. The boat will drift to the areas of Sullivan Bay and Bartolome, which are both named after Sir Bartholomew James Sulivan, a naturalist and friend of Charles Darwin. Here you will explore the geologic site of an extinct overflowing volcano along with spectacular black volcanic formations. Day 5 will require an extra slather of sunscreen, as you will be spending the day in the sun looking for pacific green sea turtles and flamingos, which is indigenous to Las Bachas. After a long and exhausting day, recharge your body on the Sunrise Deck, as you take a dip in the hot tub and unwind in the sauna.

The sixth day of the cruise will give you an opportunity to explore the administrative capital of the islands, Puerto Baquerizo Moreno with excursions to the Interpretation Center and Natural History Museum. The ship’s second to last day will bring you to the area of Puerto Ayora which is famously known for its Nation Park Tortoise Breed Center and the Charles Darwin Research Station. This is many travelers’ favorite day on the cruise as they get an up close view to giant tortoises in their natural habitat.  In the same day you will get to stroll and explore through lava tunnels!

On your last day, try to savor the tastes of the island on the ship’s very own “Darwin Restaurant” and “Blue Finch Bar” with home grown and organic ingredients of the Galapagos Islands. So come and join Celebrity Cruises to get a wide-ranging exploration from sea to sea, of the most mesmerizing Galapagos Islands!
