The idea of traveling goes beyond simply checking off each destination on your bucket list, travel creates experiences about which you can reminisce with family and friends for decades. Context Travel will make your traveling experience come alive by showing you how to live and breath the heritage of the destination you are visiting. Context runs tours of over 35 cities around the world including Beijing, Rome, Sydney, Washington, Prague and much more. With small groups of no more than six, your docent (guide) can customize the exploration to your group’s needs and preferences. Context’s highly educated docents bring the history of each city to life for all ages and families. The much anticipated Family Program in particular has been highly successful.  This track has been designed by a museum director, trained in the latest approaches of onsite learning for children. The program is captivating for kids because it features fun interactive activities in each tour, while at the same time still engaging parents. The docents encourage you to connect with the city’s culture and authenticity by exploring and supporting the local businesses in the town.

Another aspect on which Context Travel prides itself is the Corporate Social Reasonability initiatives that have been developed. One example is the Sustainable Tourism Program whose mission is to leave the most minimal environmental footprint in the locations in which it tours. One way this is achieved is by incorporating traveling by foot--or if necessary, bikes or other modes of public transportation. Context Travel also affiliates with and aligns itself with the guidelines of the Sustainable Tourism Initiative and the National Geographic Society’s Geotourism Charter.   The mission of both of these is to conserve the longevity of these beautiful and historic cities.

In planning your itinerary, Context Travel uses a proprietary filtration process.  This way, you can input specific information as part of a wish list. Context then does all the heavy lifting for you by finding the perfect tour based on your activity, historical, and religious interests. The site has a very smooth and easy booking process which aims to eliminate the planning confusion.  But at the same time it gives you the peace of mind and comfort level to combat the anxiety associated with traveling through a foreign country.  The personal guidance that the company offers will plan your trip so you don’t have to. After all, isn’t a vacation supposed to be stress free and relaxing?!
