Our VIP clients returned back from Dominican Republic. Here are just some highlights from their family vacation.
Vacation was great despite the weather first couple of days. We really liked the hotel, room was spacious and cleaned constantly. The only little hiccup is they did not give us room with king size bed, but 2 queens instead, even thought I know you specifically reserved king for us. We solved it by asking for a cot for Bradley, so no big deal. Our group had a VIP Concierge, which was very helpful with restaurant reservations and day to day activities. Even though hotel doesn't require reservations for meals, but we are a big group, so it was very convenient for us.
We did not expect amazing service, but I feel like it was pretty decent (although if you ask other members of our group, they might have different opinion).
Water and the beach were really amazing, in my opinion, at times rough waves, but overall very pleasant. Seaweed was on and off, and not much, beach was cleaned of it daily.
We had a little "surprise" on Sunday at the beach, when loads of locals showed up. They were literally bused there from local towns, I guess. It was crowded, slightly uncomfortable, they acted a bit obnoxious. We just packed up from the beach and went to the pool at that point. I was under assumption that hotel beaches are private, but I guess in DR, or this particular beach it's not the case.
